Hi friends!
If you’re reading this blog, you must be a super fan. And, if you’re a super fan, you’ve likely been in the shop in the last 6-8 weeks and noticed that I have been MIA. Not really – just in the back dealing with vendors, ordering merchandise for RB, working on a website, etc etc etc. My to-do list is a mile long these days so you could say I’m really ready for Rosebuds to open!
It’s been a stressful (and exciting) few months with the new store AND a fresh new website. I haven’t been home as much as I’d like with Knox and I know it will be even harder until after Christmas….And then it’s basically his first birthday and I. Can’t. Deal. This time warp of parenthood is seriously just mind-blowing! I’ve cried a lot which is par for the course for me if I’m being honest – I cry when I’m overjoyed about this new store & the expansion. I cry when I’m stressed (about this new store & expansion). And I cry a LOT when I realize it’s been eight hours without my boy and I won’t see him again until tomorrow because he’s ready for bed at 7pm and I’m not home yet. UGH. So, Jesus served us up a real nice cold this week and I’ve been pleasantly trapped under him most of the day. Do I have time to be home snuggling without any real production going on? No, not really. Is it right where I need to be for my little dude? Absolutely.
I’m currently typing 90 mph while he naps. I took the AM shift home with him and I’m getting relieved by Mimi (and then Dad) so I can pull a late night at the stores. WOAH – plural. So cool, so surreal, so exciting. I absolutely can’t wait for you guys to see these places when we’re done with them. We have over 10,000 new products coming into Rosebuds + The Southern Rose collectively – and you are going to LOVE them. Seriously. - 2.The gifts will also be both days….until supplies run out. We’ve got a TON on hand (based on last year’s numbers soooo we’re confident we’ll have enough for both days)
- 3.ONE SECRET FOR BLOG READERS: There will be a section of $10 graphic tees. We’ve got over 200 in ALL sizes so… yeah. Be sure to come in if graphic tees are your thing. One tee is a NEW RELEASE only available at The Southern Rose and you’re going to want it… fo’real.
- 4.On Saturday only, we will have 30 goodie bags in both stores for the first 30 people to make a purchase. There are really cool items + surprise gift cards + free monograms + more in these bags. We open at 10am if you want to camp out
